I dont know about skin whitening but IV glutathione can be helpful in many patients who suffer from Parkinson's disorder. This is because glutathione makes the brain more sensitive to circulating dopamine. In addition, glutathione is a potent free-radical scavenger and also helps improve Phase II Liver Detoxification. These abilities make glutathione an effective measure in the treatment of Parkinson's.

IVs should only be administered by a professional, so I dont know how you would get this done for skin whitening.
