I would like to know if any of you have any suggestions regarding posting assets.

Im working for a company who has done nothing as far reconciling books for several months.

They have several assets (vehicles and leased equipment) how can i create an entry with no vehicle contracts??

I know how to post the assets, but would like to have a more accurate idea of what the balance is left.

Any suggestions???
