Bills are sent to for services provided in feb. for the amount of $800. What account would I debit the 800 to?
cash, sales revenue, accounts receivable, or retained earnings

my answer would be unearned revenue, but for multiple choice I would pick sales revenue, but i may not be right, but i did just get a b in accounting if that matters....lol,,,but dont take my advice read your book!!!!!!!

From the sounds of it, you are sending the bill to someone.

Therefore, the JE would be:

Dr. AR 800
Cr. Sales 800

So you would debit AR.
