My air conditioner will not shut off. At first it would not turn on and I bought a new thermasate, now it will turn on but it wont turn off. What could be the problem.

Your contactor on the condensing unit is welded together. Replace-it!

It may also be in your thermostat wiring. Are you sure everything is wired correctly?
