Hi, I slept with my Boyfriend without protection (I NEVER do this!) and I'm not on the pill, but then i took 3 contractive pills and then 3 the next day because i was worried even though i 'think' he didn't come. But I got my period last week as normal but then i got it again today (a few days later) but this is very light. But now I am scared that I might be prenant.... Could I be pregnant???? Help!!!!

I forgot to add that I have just recently (in the last 2 months) taken up a lot of excercise. I went from doing NO excercise at all to surfing at the weekends and kickboxing twice a week.... could this be the problem with my period???

You are not supposed to take the pills a day. If you would have read the instructions, it would have told you to take 1 pill as soon as you remember and continue to take them as you normally would. You're period is probably abnormal because you didn't take your birth control incorrectly.

If youcan't remember to take your pill there are other birth control methods (such as the shot, patch, etc.) that might work better for you.

Thanks for you reply. But I had stopped taking my pill back in december as i couldnt find one to agree with me..and was told by the docter to take a rest from it for a while. This is why i just took 3 in one go...as i am not on the pill anymore...and i heard that this would be the same as taking a morning after pill.
