Hi,

I was on the depo provera shot several years ago. One day I had alot of back pain and cramping. When I used the bathroom, I passed about a quarter to half dollar sized grey clot that looked like tissue. I don't remember if I had any bleeding accompanying the tissue. When I called to speak with the nurse, she said it probably was probably uterine tissue coming out too fast as a result of the depo. She told me not to worry about it. I showed the tissue to my friend who thought I probably had a miscarriage.

I just was wondering if expelling this grey tissue is normal for one just starting on depo.

Thank you,
Cam
