I do plan to see a dr, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience on this in the meantime. I have very irregular periods. Always have. PCOS too. Anyway, this period (which I posted on a few days ago) has been going on nearly 14 days now. Last night, and again tonight, I had 2 big clots. About the size of a golf ball I would say. I am not pregnant. But I thought this was strange. I called the dr to see if I should go into the ER, but she said it's not an emergency and just make an appt to be seen very soon. So I am going to do that. But has anyone ever had anything like this? Could it just be that it's been so long since I've had a period that everything is just coming out now? Do you think they are going to suggest a D&C? I'm just really wondering what is going on. It's weird! There have been a lot of really tiny clots too. Those didn't concern me, but these big ones have! Thanks.

Are you sexually active?? If so then maybe you're having a miscarriage. Does it hurt very badly?? Sometimes women can have miscarriages and not know it, they just think it's a bad period. Good thing your going to the doctor. I dont know why your doctor said it wasn't an emergency though. If I was bleeding a few days past my normal cycle and if it were still heavy, I Would most definately go into the ER. 14 days is a very long time to be bleeding. It probably has to with the PCOS maybe? If it is very painful and still very heavy I would most definately go to the ER. Even if it's to atleast get some painkillers. I hope everything turns out alright (I'm sure it will). Take care of yourself goodluck
