Pickerill,
I have had endometriosis, many years ago and it was irregular, but painful.
The best doctor was at the Mayo Clinic and he was the first who diagnosed the
problem but was unable to give me a permanent solution.
Endometriosis is a unhealthy condition of the body, but unhealthy conditions can
be created by bad eating habits and can be restored to healthy conditions with
proper eating habits. My advice is to take the simplest approach and that is to
eat properly. What constitutes good eating habits? You will need to discover that
through research, but I improved my eating habits and for the last 4 years have been
very healthy. I discovered a lot about protein, such as fish, shrimp, eggs and milk
and one of the best adjustments that I made was to increase the protein intake,
lower carbohydrates and exercise. I weigh 120 pounds, 5' 2", so I am where I should
be, I eat about 3/4 of a pound of seafood every second day, alternating with other
proteins inbetween. Protein is the main constituent of cells. Endometriosis is a disorder
of the cells. It has worked for me. Be careful of the medical profession, remember, they
are in business to make money and sell operations. Healthy people do not need
doctors. artemis
