I am currently trying to get pregnant. I have been off the "Deprvera " for about a month and my question is how long does it usually take before the shot gets out of someone's system? And how long am I looking at before I might get pregnant and If it matters this will be my first baby! Thanks I appreciate anyone's help

its normaly every 12 weeks you have to go back for another injection 10 if u r slighty over weight so i should think n e time after the 12 weeks.
I was on the depo injection and i came off it and 4 months later i got preg wid my first child, but saying that my friend had been off it for 3 yrs and is still not pregnant and she has not ben on n e other contraception since she is haveing tests done but not to scare you it worked for me i think after 6 months of trying or may be a yr go and c a dr if nothing has happend get you and ur pertner checked to outline theres no problem with either of you, but it also depends on your age and your weight if you are over weighjt it is supposed to take a bit longer to concive and if u or your parnter smoke or drink it lowers the mans sperm count happy humping xxx xxx

Hi im lorraine. I come of the injection in july 2006. I did not have my first period until august 2007. its different for everyone i think. im looking to get pregnantas well and this will be my first. do you have any idea if i will have another period this month.

Hi Lorraine

As you mentioned, everyone is different so we cannot tell if you'll get another period this month. Have you been to a doctor to discuss your cycles?
