hi,

i was on F1 visa status (OPT) for the year 2006. So i am still eligible to fill the 1040NR-EZ form. But my real confusion is with the state tax form and what form should i fill .I worked in to different states in 2006 .
1)I worked in Calif for the months from June to Nov
2)I moved to PA in Nov and was working in PA for the rest of the year i.e from Nov-Dec.

(am i still considered a non-resident ,since i have Indian citizenship like in the federal tax form) or am i a part time resident since i moved to calif and Pennsylvania on OPT.

I need to which form should i file for the state taxes.I.e for CA and PA

Can i do use the online taxes returns software for the state taxes only cause i think i can't do a 1040NR-EZ online.

Any help will be appreciated

Please help me out with this doubt since the deadline is approaching.

Thanks in advance.

You are a part-year resident for both PA and CA.

Use the part-year forms for both states.
