There is shampoo called Vosene in the UK, which has the ability to fade hair color. You might want to give it a try and see if it works for you. Good luck.

Thank for that. i brought some and left it one for a few hours, wen i rinsed the water was brown (not sure whether this was just the colour of the shampoo or dye coming out). im gonna keep percevearing with it tho.
Thanx

just to say i have the same problem - last time i dyed it and it too was black, i bathed several times in epsom salts for at least 30mins each time and it did take the black out but still left it very dark brown and so i still had roots showing through

unfortunately i then went to the hairdressers to get some help and they used a bleach shampoo and then a 'warm' brown which has left me with red/orange hair and i am gutted!! they said it wouldnt be that red just a nice warm colour - my natural colour is a mid to light brown (bit like Posh underneath her highlights)

i have to go back on tuesday but have no idea what they will do to it and cant try anything myself as they told me on the phone not to touch it until i see them - i also dont want to go in not knowing what should be done as they could say anything and i would believe them

i didnt realise you had to leave vosene on for a few hrs - i have been using head and shoulders ever since i dyed it as i am in the UK too and it is meant to remove dye but it didnt really do anything at all - gutted that i didnt know to leave it on for hrs to remove the colour instead of shampooing as normal! would have saved me from the mess i am in now!

yea u have 2 leave the shampoo on unfortunatly, if it helps ive also tried puttin the shampoo on and wrappin my hair in foil or cling film and then putting a warm towel on, this seems to help as well.
i need the sun to shine so i can cover my hair in lemon juice n sit in the sun.

If you've noticed that the water is turning brown while shampooing your hair with Vosene. That means it's working.
