I am a full time student and this is the first year that I do not work. I need to show my 2006 taxes in order to receive financial aid. I live with my boyfriend and I am not been claimed as a dependent by anyone.

My question is if I have 0 income do I need to file 1040EZ and NYS IT201

Thanks

L

Go back to the financial aid office and explain that you had no legal obligation to file a tax return. It makes no sense to file for financial aid purposes.
