I am on L1 visa arrived US at 8/30/2006, what's my filing status? resident or non resident?

If you are single, you are a non-resident alien.

If married, you can file jointly with your spouse and choose to be treated as a resident alien for all of 2006. However, all world-wide income becomes subject to U.S. taxes in this case.
