My home has an oil burning heating system. Recently, the waterpipes and radiators have been making an excessive amount of noise, especially during start-up. Do I have a serious plumbing problem? Thank you.

You probably need to bleed the radiators and check the expansion tank and operating pressure.

Would think you have a airlock somewhere, try running your taps or if that does not work, ring a couple of plumbers for free advice, see if they suggest the same thing. Take care, love and peace anne x
