Hello, we purchased a Goodman furnace June 2006. When we turn off the furnace, and turn it back on, the furnace does not work. I've left numerous voice mail and text messages for Air Kings in Columbus, Oh and they do not return my call. This is the company that installed the furnace. It is 30 degrees in Columbus at the present and we family of five are freezing.

How do I get my furnace to turn back on and produce heat. My husband changed the fillter this morning and still no luck.

I do plan on contact the State of Ohio Licensing agency to report Air Kings.

Any suggestions???? Thank you.

On the blower door of the furnace you should have a small round window, look inside count the blinks of the flashing light. This is what will tell you whats wrong. the code is on the inside of the blower door.(two blinks pause one blink. code 21) count it twice and then three times to make sure you get it right. turn thermostat to off and then turn power off to furnace wait 3 seconds turn power back on and then turn thermostat back to heat and make it call for heat. Whats the code you wrote down?(let me guess flame sensor or pressure switch).

I'm going to guess it is a problem with the pressure switch or blockage in the vacuum line.

Wrong answer. First, report the company that installed it. My guess is that they are rinky dink like Park and Sons or Emergency Heating and Repair in Omaha Nebraska and will not honor or back up their product. How about my furnac? Three months old and shutting off. I replace a 27 year old furnace that had no problems with this piec of crap. Goodman, hopefully they go out of business, I think they just might if enough people get the word out that their product is crap. I will replace this POS within three years I'm sure.
