I have a new (6 months old) Goodman package unit. Five ton compressor and 144,000 btu natural gas furnace. When installed all components worked fine. Winter is over and I tried to turn on the AC for the first time this year. The blower comes on but the compressor does not start and the fan for the compressor does not start either. The heat works, the blower works, the setting for "fan only" (blower) works. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dennis

You should be covered under warranty so call the installer back. When you shut it down for winter you did not pull the connection outisde by any chance? Might do a quick check to see if power is reaching the exterior of your home but stop there. Don't open or alter the connections at the compressor, you might mess up your warranty.
