I have a Hampton Bay fan #523974
Hi, I would like to re-configure my already installed fan with remote control to a manual control using a Lutron two slide switch which allows side-by-side manual control of the fan speed and light intensity. The wall switch has three wires: one black, one red and one ground. The red wire from the wall switch is capped off above the fan. There is one white and one black wires that are routed into the fan from above. The big problem as I see it is that the fan lower housing that holds the remote control has a plastic square connector that has about 6 wiresof which one is red, black and white. All a little confusing at this point. Any help appreciated. JB
