I drank pretty heavily Friday night and during the day/night Saturday with my last drink being around midnight Saturday. It was the first alcohol I had consumed in almost 4 months and I was given an EtG test this morning (thursday @ 10am). What do my odds looks like? It's been 4 days with no alcohol in my system, fairly active and drink a far amount of coffee and water (if those things help).

You should be okay. The main question is, if you're undergoing ETG testing, why are you risking it by drinking?

That is a much better question than the one I asked, and the answer is a much simpler. Ashamed to have even put myself in the situation, especially because of what is at stake. I can only wait and find out the results now.

You'll very likely pass. The cut off, according to most experts, is 60-80 hours. Even at the high end you should be okay.

What's at stake if you fail?

You were sober for 4 months. What can we do to help you stay sober?

You're anonymous here. If you need help, say so, and we'll do our best to help, or find you help. No need to be ashamed. Nobody's perfect. We all make mistakes. But if there's a huge stake in this, and you're having trouble dealing with sobriety, we can try to help.

All you have to do is ask. Remember, you're anonymous here, no one knows who you are. You can be candid here, and maybe you'll get to where you need to, and want to, be. Can't hurt right?

Let me know. I'm more than willing to do what I can to help you stay sober. :)
