I have lost my sound system xp mainboard matsonic ms137c+ when itry to install driver from cd suppied mesage comes up saying enable from bios then try again when I do so same message iwent to davice manager to try to fix it got message saying error in code 10 ilost my sound when iinstalled AOL broardband and had troble with it and AOL service told me to do lots of things to try tofix it but did not work so cancceld broardband but had no sound hoping someone can help thanks

OK first things first. If you could put here what AOL told you to do that might help. One of those things could be causing the problem.

Have you tried going to your motherboard manufactorer's homepage to download the latest driver? You might not get the problem with a more recent driver than the one of your CD.

Also it sounds like you have XP. Using System Restore to jump back to a point before you installed AOL could solve the problem.

I wouldn't tinker around with your bios unless you know what you are doing. For one, installing AOL Broadband would not have touched your BIOS so stay clear of it.
