View Full Version : ETG test. Am I going to pass?

I drank about 15 or so drinks on a Friday, with my last drink at midnight and I took a urine analysis test that is likely an ETG test on Thursday at 3:30pm.

This means I had about 135 hours in between my last drink and the UA. In between, I worked out three times and drank a good amount of water, had lots of protein, and drank a bottle of water about an hour before my test.

I was just hoping on some insight regarding this and hopefully something to help put my mind to ease.

I also drank on the Wednesday before the Friday that I was referencing to, not sure if that matters..

Thank you for any help.

John

How much (and what) did you drink on Wednesday?

I had probably 8-9 beers, Manny's, and the rest shots of vodka.

I am like 210 lbs and highly active if that matters.

I had about 4 shots in a mixed drink at from like 10am-Noon for tailgating for a football game. Then a break with no alcohol from noon until about 5. Then like 9 beers and a couple shots or so in between 5 and midnight. Stopped then, and then there were 135.5 hours approximately in between my last drink and my test.

Oh sorry, I drank Wednesday night from like 10pm-2am. Mostly mixed drinks, provably like 4 or 5, and 2 shots or so of vodka.

Why drink all that water? Fail for dilution is your real problem.

What will you lose if you fail?

I only drank a lot of water in the days leading up to it, then just had one small bottle of water like an hour or so before. I work graveyard shift so I woke up not too much earlier before the test. I was dehydrated.

I lose a lot if I fail. Court finds out, have to start over at treatment, have to skip a vacation.

I appreciate you asking, but if there is any insight into the detection time and whatnot, that would be very helpful.

I just wanted to be clear about times and drinks. I'm guessing you passed, but I'm no expert on EtG testing.

Oh I really don't mind the questions, just wanted to see if there was any info on the ETG and whatnot. Thank you for your concern :)

You and I both know there is one guaranteed, foolproof way to pass, right? ;)

Of course!

I wish someone with some experience with these bad boys would answer! LoL

You're absolutely fine at 135 hours.

Wednesday's drinking episode was not a factor at all.

Thank you much for the answer! I was 99% sure, but the worry factor just made me need someone else to say it.

Good Evening,

I was just looking for some input on whether I would likely pass an ETG test I recently took.

I had about 15 or so drinks on last Friday (Nov. 29th). This was about 6 shots of vodka and 9 beers. This was over a period of about 13-14 hours. After about an hours of drinking, I had some mac n' cheese, and also had some appetizers towards the end of the drinking. My last drink was at midninght. I took my ETG test at 3:30pm-ish on Thursday (Dec. 5th). I also had about 10 drinks Wed night prior to the Thursday I was referring to above (not sure if relevant).

I am 6'1, 210 lbs, and am highly active. I worked out three times in between the last drink and UA (weights and cardio). I drank a good amount of water on the days leading up to the UA, and one small bottle of water a little over an hour before the UA. I also have a diet that I eat a good amount of protein, greens, and fruits. (not sure if that matters).

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!

Are you saying you had 10 drinks the Wednesday night before the test on Thursday? If so, highly unlikely that you will pass.

No sorry for the confusion, that was two days before the Friday I drank. Then it was 135 hours from the last drink Friday until my test on the next Thursday.
