This all happened 3years ago the woman's daughter got into a fight with my daughter, more like an argument and I was called to the office because I was told that my daughter was in a fight and after that I called the mother of the girl and tried to fix things verbally she didn't like it and started threatening me so I made a police report. Latly she has tried to fight my daughter in her High school. My daughter is only 14 and they didn't do nothing to the woman.. On Thursday that I take my daughter to school she almost hit my vehicle with hers and she got of and started saying she was going to beat my and that I was a and mostly harassing me so that same morning I went to her house because my daughter showed me where she lived and I wanted to finish this once and for all I was tired of her. So I went to her house and she starts screaming to the top of her lungs saying she was going to beat my and also called someone over to try and jump me. I wasn't in any intention trying to fight her and she put her hands on me first we foght and I left and not even 10 minutes later I got called because I was going to be arrested. I am being accused of Battery and assault and just to be prepared for what I'm going in to I would like to know what my sentence would be if I am claimed guilty?

Some sort of probation, restraining order to stay away from her, and anger management sessions, I would guess. It will show on your record if you are found guilty. You should be able to get an order to make sure she stays away from you too, if the court believes you that she accosted your daughter at school and you in your car.

Next time arrange meetings at the school instead of calling the parent - and especially going to their home. The rest about who started what doesn't matter, and she almost hit your car but didn't. You called her, and you went to her home.

You have handled this wrong from the start. You should have had the school handle things. Whenever she got in your face you should have turned and walked away. Going to her house was a huge mistake. I'm guessing this woman has been trying to provoke you into making such a bonehead move as you did. Now you have no witnesses but I'm guessing the other party will testify that you started it. And the fact that you went to her house is going to support that.

You need an attorney. If you plead guilty that will provide fodder for a civil suit that could be catastrophic.
