I usually always get my hair dyed at a salon, but right now I am just too broke to get it done again so I tried doing it myself with Loreal Paris level 9 Light Natural blonde. I had roots I was trying to cover up that were dark blonde and then I had bright golden blonde on the rest of the hair. Now after the dye job my hair color looks really dull and slightly brassy at the roots and I just hate it. Can I dye it again if I just dyed it yesterday? Also I got advice to use Clairol "Torrids" Hi-Lift Blondes shade with a violet base to control gold tones and a 40 volume cream developer, mix 2oz color and 4oz developer and leave on for an hour is that the best advice to make my hair lighter, brighter, and shinner?
