I usually always get my hair dyed at a salon, but right now I am just too broke to get it done again so I tried doing it myself with Loreal Paris level 9 Light Natural blonde. I had roots I was trying to cover up that were dark blonde and then I had bright golden blonde on the rest of the hair. Now after the dye job my hair color looks really dull and slightly brassy at the roots and I just hate it. Can I dye it again if I just dyed it yesterday? Also I got advice to use Clairol "Torrids" Hi-Lift Blondes shade with a violet base to control gold tones and a 40 volume cream developer, mix 2oz color and 4oz developer and leave on for an hour is that the best advice to make my hair lighter, brighter, and shinner? Please help! Thanks:)
