Is it normal for your discharge before your period starts to be a little odory?

Does this happen if youre pregnant?

Slightly odory can be normal. But it can also be a sign of an infection. If you have this you should see your doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

In a PM from Emily:

Hi, thank you for answering my question.

However, there WAS one part you didnt answer. Is odory discharge before a period something you still get when youre pregnant or not?

Because my period's due any day, but I'm afraid I might be pregnant. Here's the story: I was having sex with my boyfriend when the condom broke..and we put on another one and that one broke too :/ He never went in me, and we used condoms with spermicide, but I'm worried about the precum.

What do you think?

Anytime you have sex, protected or not, you run the risk of pregnancy. Typically odor is a symptom of an infection such as a yeast infection, not pregnancy.

You should see your doctor if it begins to itch or does not clear up in a day or two.
