I drove the tractor to my driveway to change the mower belt and after reaching around the deck removing grass I decided to move it to the grass to wash it off but t wouldn't move, it just makes a grinding noise when I move the lever to forward or reverse I have tried pushing in the clutch and putting it in forward and reverse then letting the clutch out but it won't move and the engine loads up when I release the clutch. I also disengaged the rear end with the push pin at the rear of the mower and I can run the forward and reverse levers without any noise or movement but I can't roll the mower even when it is disengaged.

I just found out what was causing the problem with my Hydrostatic transmission, I called the manufacturer, Hydro-Gear and downloaded the repair manual for the transmission and the rep told me it was probably the brake stuck on, I played with the linkage on the transmission and felt it release and everything is back to normal.
