Hello!

I've had my hair dyed a purple/plumish colour for about 3 years, permanent hair dye. Today I stripped out the dye and I'm going to do it again as a lot of orange and pink has been left.

Can anyone give me the best advice or tips on going back to a honeyish shade of blonde from here? Thanks a lot!

If you want a decent blonde shade, you will need to do a double process, bleaching and toning. Your hair will need to be lighten to a yellow stage and then a toner is applied to make it look natural. Anything other than that will result in a red/orange color. You should consider going to the salon and have it done.

I've applied a lot of highlights to my hair, I now have some great blonde tones but there is still a lot of ginger/red bits, mostly at the bottom of my hair.

What do I do to get them blonde? Do I have to strip my hair again and how will this affect the bleached parts?

Thanks
