My unit is off and it is pushing warm air while it is off. And when it is on it pushes warm also, why would it do that?

Please clarify what you mean by "unit is off". Is the stat set to off? Is the outdoor unit off when it should be on? More info is needed to be of any assistance with your current problem. I hate to say it, but this may be one that needs to be checked out by an onsite hvac tech. Too many things get lost in translation through a keyboard many times. I really hope we can help you, but we need specific info as to what your system is and isn't doing during all aspects of operation.

Back to you.

Lee.

Response: I have two separate units one for the upstairs and one for the main level. The heat and air system on the lower level is off because while on and set for cooling on 74 degrees, but it was pushing out warm air. I turned the breakers off connected to it and it is still pushing out warm air. We had to close up all vents on the main level because it was making that level over 83 degrees. I am very concern and worried please advise me too what the problem may be.

Im sorry, but if you have the breaker to the unit off, yet it is still blowing air, you must have shut the wrong breaker off. If there is no power to the unit, there is absolutlely no way the blower could still be running. I really would like to help, but without you having a basic knowledge of the working, and powerings of the systems, I will bow out. Wish you the best of luck with your current problem. I really think an onsite tech could resolve this in short order.

Mygirlsdad77 thank you so very much for your help. Turning the system on and off with the breakers are really easy and operating the system is not too hard. There is no Dout that I am not aware of what the problem is and I agree that I would really need a tech out here. Thank you again for your time.
