hello how are you, my name is danielle and i am 21 years old.. Its 4:50am where im at and thats because i was woken up by heartburn about an hour 1/2 ago. My question is - is this heartburn that i'm feeling or is it morning sickness... I've had heartburn before many times but nothin to the extreme.. It literally woke me up at of my sleep. I tried going back to bed but it just burned and i didn't feel good. This heartburn thing started 2 days ago. I thought it might have been food that i have eaten i wasn;t sure but i think its getting a little worse. Normally when i have heartburn it last like 5-10 mins if that.. So the last time i had sex was 2 1/2 weeks ago. But I had my period and my boyfriend usually doesn;t go in me but he did this time.. I am also on the pill so thats why i'm not sure whats going on? My friends are telling me its early signs but i dont think that me feeling heartburn is a first sign of being pregnant.. But im not a doc. so if some could just write me back i would really appreciate it!

Usually heartburn doesn't occur until later in pregnancy when the baby is putting pressure on the stomach, but you should go get a pregnancy test. Do you take any kind of medicine, because I have had some extreme heartburn from some medicine I was on. It woke me up in the middle of the night and lasted two hours...so bad I was dry heaving. It could also be an ulcer. I don't know, but to be on the safe side I would reccomend a pregnancy test....EPT tests are really good and reliable.
