The error code it displays is
F1
I want to know what this means and what the manual says on how to fix it?

Unfortunately, Kenmore doesn't identify all of the codes. This is all it says about F codes:

"F__ "F##" code
Press STOP once to clear code. Press START. If code
Appears again, call for service"

(Bless their little hearts).

Kenmore also doesn't post its repair manuals online. You can find them in various repair sites for about $30.

Googling around I find a number of apparent experts who say that the F1 code is a bad control board. Replacement of the control board is indicated.
