You didn't list him as the father. All he has to do to obtain his rights is demand a DNA test proving that he's the father. Then he can file for partial, or full, custody, and child support will be established. Changing your child's middle name won't hamper, or help his case.

He was an abusive partner and I placed his second nsme as her middle name. Im in the uk. To this day I am still getting thretening and abusive messages from him.
