I can't seem to figure out how to connect two computers together, one has win98 and the other has winxp. I have to hook the win 98 to the winxp because my friend put passwords on the administrators and locked them and she can't remember what they were. The winxp won't let me connect from it without admin. Privileges. I need to get in and cancel the passwords. I did try those PC doctor cds and that just peed me off . Can u help ?

Best way to connect to machines is through a network. Use of a simple 4 port hub would be easiest. Each machine you need a network card of course.

I don't understand what the passwords have to do with connecting the two PCs. What you need to do is get past the passwords. Contact Microsoft, they should be able to help.

The winxp won't let you connect from it without admin. Because your friend can't remember. Try botting computer on safemode and look if there any admi acount without password by pressing F8 key while booting. The only way I know is reinstalling window. Please connect to Microsoft to solve these ploblem.
