My husband had a vasectomy in January of this year and on February 8th I had my IUD removed. I had my period 2 days after the removal and then we had sex the day after my period ended on the 17th w/o protection. On the 23rd and 24th we used a condom, my period should have started March 12th according to my old cycle, but the whole reason I had the IUD removed was because it was making my period 2-3 weeks long. I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy, but I just want to know if it would even be possible since I haven't started yet and its the 14th. I heard some people have an adjustment time period after IUD removal, but my doctor isn't very helpful on this subject. :( can anyone help please?

Unfortunately, or fortunately, if you don't want to become pregnant, your chances of getting are quite slim since a vasectomy is the male form of a tubal ligation.

There is actually little need for an IUD if he has had a vasectomy.
