 I am 28 years old and getting ready to get married to a wonderful man.:p I was on the depo shot for 3 years and I have now been off of it for about 6 weeks, maybe not quite that long, but I have had bleeding for the past 5 weeks and it is driving me crazy. It will tease me, I will go all day no bleeding and then at night there it is agian(or vice versa). My soon to be husband and I have not had sex, but once in the past 6 weeks and I don't want him to think that I don't want him or that he doesn't turn me on, because every time he even looks at me I get butterflys in my stomach. I just can not get the bleeding to stop, I am so so tired, and I am emotionally a mess. Is this because I have not had any bleeding in the past 3 years? What do I do? Help, I want my mind to rest and I want him to know that the lack of sex is all because of getting off of this shot and that he really does know how to light my fire. I am ready to be able to take care of my honey in the sexual ways!!! :D How long will this last?

I am just getting off the depo shot myself. I haven't bled yet. I would just explain to him what is going on with your body. If he is truley your soul mate he will understand and maybe try to do something to help. My husband always tries to help when I am not feeling well.
Also you can have sex when you are on your period, just but a towel underneath you. As for how long it will last I have no idea.
