I been married at the age of 15 in my home country Bangladesh.

I am now 30 years old while my husband is 45, we have three kids. He and I have been having issues for the past year. Mostly realting to money and him leaving to Bangladesh.

He now wants a divorce because I am now too "old" in his eyes. He wants to marry a younger girl in Bangladesh. That's how I know he wants to get remarried because he is suddently leaving me for no good reason.

We had a argument about this and he left the house and moved in with a friend. He came in with the police to gather his things and I havne't spoke to him in awhile.

I don't want this to happen to another girl as it happened to me.

I want to file a case but don't know how to go about doing it. Is it too late for me to file a case since it's been 15 years since I been married? Would it be internationa case or can I do it within the USA?

You live in the US now? Your marriage was legal here?

When you married did you have parental consent? Were you pregnant when you got married?

Thing is, you married in Bangladesh, and even though they have a legal age of consent, they're not that strict about it according to what I read. Also, it's been 15 years, so the statute of limitations is likely to fall into place.

If he's living in the US and marries an underage girl in the US, than he can be charged. But I really don't believe you can charge him for your underage marriage, especially since you were married in Bangladesh, not the US.
