Hey,

I have a american bulldog about 15months old and she is refusing to eat and only weights 28kg. I could see a ribs and this makes me sad. I have tried everything, brought her to the vet, did blood test, and change the food a couple of times. Sometimes she eats sometimes she just walks away. I am stressed and thinking of giving her away because I feel really sad seeing her like this. Please help.

Um... 28kgs is a good weight for your dog to be at. American bull dogs are not suppose to be fat. You should be able to feel the ribs, but not see them.

Healthy dogs will only eat what they need. Forcing them to eat more will only make your dog fat.. and fat dogs have many health problems.

Stop changing her food. Find a brand of food that fits your budget and you feel is going to nutritionally feed your dog and stay with it. Put her on a schedule and keep to it. Feed her twice a day, morning and night. Put the food down.. weight 15mins - 30mins and if she doesn't eat it, or is picking at it.. pick the food up and she doesn't get anything until morning.

Give her away? Why on earth are going to give away a dog with possible health problems? You purchased this dog.. she is your commitment to care for even if she is sick.

I'm not a vet.. but from the small amount of information given, your dog does not appear sick to me. 28kg for an American Bulldog female is not odd.. and the fact that she is not a big eater does not concern me either.. on top of the fact you took your dog in and bloodwork was normal.
