No one knows except for the Vet and that may depend on the results of the necropsy.

Your dog's worm infestation was so severe that she died?

Where were you when this was going on?

She probably died from the parvo.

Worms, if in large enough numbers, can be just as deadly.

Keep your older dog up to date with all vaccines and the likeliness of him getting sick from Parvo will be greatly reduced. Older pets have a stronger immune system than young puppies, but if you have a known case of parvo in your home.. vaccinate your pet, clean your home and yard REALLY well with bleach and don't buy another puppy for 1-2 years. You're only choices now are older puppies that have received min. 2 vaccines or an older dog that has gone through the full puppy series plus some.

I just noticed the heading - "how old do dogs have to be so they don't get parvo."

There IS no age limit.

Shaking my head.
