I have a tap in the rear yard that i think may have been adapted from an old outside toilet. (110 year old house).
This tap is now spraying water from the point the pipe meets the tap.
I have tried shutting off all the cut off taps within the house but this has no effect on the water spraying out. There are no other cut off taps on the exterior of the house so I cannot shut off the water in order to repair it.
Does anyone know if the tap can be repaired without being able to shut off the water or if there may possibly be no shut off tap and the water company will need to assist.
