Where can I purchase a 3 wire programmable thermostat for Heat and A/C?

Is there any thing special I need to know about the installation?

Thanks
Joe

Home Depot or Lowes are great places to start. All heat a/c units I've worked on had 4 wire stats, not three.

Most thermostats have 4-5 contacts. Any one that doesn't need a com wire for power should work fine, you just won't have the fan On option. If your current thermostat has wires to R, W, and Y, just transfer them to the same terminals on the new one. More questions? Check the sticky at the top of the forum.
