I walked in on my 7-year-old son humping the sofa pillow. I was shocked and honestly didn't know what I should say to him, so I just asked what was he doing and he responded and just said nothing and went back to playing his Nintendo DS. I am totally confused and didn't think I would have to deal with these type issues until he was at least 12 or 13. He just looked as if he was gratifing a feeling and I don't believe it was do to something he has seen on t v nor in oyr family so I need help to understand is this normal for boys.

Perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry about it.

The thing is, you can't make a big deal out of it or it will become an issue. If it continues, you might want to try to explain about proper times and places and such but other than that, it's normal.
