I replaced all the seats, stem assemblies (hot and cold) and diverter valve assembly on our tub and it is still leaking from the spout when the water is turned off. The water is hot coming from the spout. What could be the problem now?Help me please! Thank You.

Sounds like you've picked up some trash and it's preventing the valve from completely closing. Try this. Shut the water off and open up the hot water valve. Check for trash. Now turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supply. Reassemble and test.. Is it working now? Good luck, Tom

Remove the hot stem examine it. If you find no obvious defect, reinstall it. But reinstall it in the open position (stem screwed all the way out of the body).
If installed in the close position the stem will hit the seat before you have completely screwed the body of the stem into the body of the valve.
