I was told I didn't have an Inner Plate (Firebox cover) for my GE Water heater. I have looked on line for a replacement and can't find one anywhere. What are they really called?

Post a picture of what you are looking for because I never heard of a fire box cover on a water heater. This way we will know exactly what you are looking at.
