Does she have a judgment against you?

Check your County Clerk's office for liens against your property.

Or hire a title company to do a title search.

assuming you live where the property is located, go to your court house, ( where the deeds are recorded) and ask them if there are any current liens.

A search at the county clerk's office will turn up any liens such as mortgages or mechanics' liens. But you will have to do a separate judgment search to turn up any liens that are the result of judgments. Tell us the type of lien that you think she may have filed and the state where the property is located. Then we can give you a better answer.
