WaterWings
Jul 23, 2012, 04:36 PM
Unit is about 16 months old and has been working nicely. From my past experience I constantly monitor the outside drian and periodically shop vac the line to assure it remains clear. About 10 days ago the pan was full and the system shut down. I drained it and the unit started up. The next day a small leak started in the ceiling. The water was leaking from the output plenum. I called my technician and he opened the unit. The internal insulations had come loose and the inside was like a rain forest. Since then we have checked for level and the water seems to be contained inside the airhandler however, there is so much water that I now have to vaccuum the pan daily. Why am I getting excessive water and what can I do?
