Hi,

Is the new law that you have to earn 18,600 for settlement in uk from pakistan been scrapped?

There have been some immigration changes made from July 9/12; but I think it applies to any immigrants. However, the new settlement amount is 35,000 pounds sterling, which converts to 54,679 US dollars which anyone would have to earn to settle in the UK. It sort of limits the field of alternative employment.

I dont know if this applies just to Pakistanis. I will give you a link so you may read new information. However it is always best to call an immigration lawyer. We do not have any immigration experts here at the present time.
