I have a 5 wire hooked to a 2 stage tstat, it is r, w1, w2, y, g. on my furnace I only have r, w, y, g, c. i know that y - y - outside a/c, g - g, r - r, c - outside a/c, but what can I do about w1, w2. the installation guide says that it is a 2 stage furnace and can be operated automatically by the tstat or by the furnace control board on a timer but am i supposed to hook w1 and w2 to the same w screw on the control board?
