mower deck runs for 5 or 10 minutes then just quits. Engine runs fine but the mower blades stop running. let it sit for 20 minutes and the mower works for another 5-10 minutes then quits. all the while the engine runs great. Any thoughts please& thanks!

Check the airgap on the electric PTO clutch. There sould be three oval windows in the upper housing through which you can insert a feeler gauge. Try for 0.010" to 0.012"( the same all the way around.)

thanks Clarke! looked at it afound the 3 windows but inserting the feeler gauge looks tricky to be able to know exact placement of the gauge? where is the adjusting screw or bolt located pelase? would the manual show this procedure? many thanks,

Should be three nuts near the holes(have springs on them.)
