I put a new pressure gage on and it's not reading. The gage is good and the pressure is good also . I can't find any leaks and some time when I turn on my water the pressure is weak and my water shuts off. The hot water tank makes a noise and after about 10 to 15 minutes my water comes back on.

What kind of piping do you have? Where is the pressure gauge mounted? Is it mounted on the piping or is mounted on the tank, or is it mounted some where else with a small tube to the gauge?

When your pressure is low or non existent, have you ever removed the cover of the pump switch to see if the points are closed?
