I have Kenmore fridge, top mount. My ice maker is working good, but the water dispenser inside fridge is leaking.
Appliance Medic wants to charge me 300.00 for replacing some part in that dispenser. May I just shut a water going to dispenser without disconnecting ice maker?

You should be able to disconnect the electrical connection to the dispenser's water solenoid valve.
