My problem started with the outside fan not working at all. I once tried giving it a little help and it worked for a few minutes but then stopped. However, you could still hear a buzzing noise. Now, when I tried to start it up again, I don't hear anything at all. The inside fan works but I get nothing from outside. The heat in Victorville right now is really high and I can't see going for a few days without the A/C. Please help!

You know the answer already. Replace the fan motor and the capacitor for the fan motor and all will be cool in your home in Victorville. Sometimes if you remove the motor and if there is a electric motor repair shop in your town they can match it up for you. If not then you will have to use the Brand and model number of your outside unit and order from that.
