Ok so me and this girl are about to be in a commited realitionship we are close to being out of school she wants to be a actress and preform on broadway she tells me that she really wont have time for a family whitch really bums me out I want to be a family man I also would like to be a police officer I would really like a family what should I do?

Decide what's better for you - she or the dreams of family, you'd have to let one of these go. Simple as that.
If you say second, not necessarily that you have to drop her straight out. If you're sure you can find somebody else while you're two are still together, I guess that's the best plan. Find a better match, dropping her, that's how I'd do in this case.
Might not sound good, but I'm just being straight.
