Hi:
I have a septic system. House is on a slab...live in FL. I had a leak at the toilet base. Plumber put new wax ring. Next day leak was 10 times worse....no kidding. Pulled the toilet again..... snaked the line to the septic tank and reinstalled the toilet. Today there is a small puddle of water near the toilet...... could be residual water draining out from under the adjoining wall or could be same old leak.

If the septic fields are draining slowly would the water drain out the septic lid first or back up and leak out at the toilet base.?

If it's the drain fields, has anyone got experience of Hydro-jetting the lines ?
I am told this could be an $800 solution rather than all new drain fields at $5K.

Thanks in advance...Mike.
